Diving in Tenerife

Underwater Adventures

Diving center in tenerife

In 2013, we opened a Russian-Polish diving school in the southern part of the Spanish island of Tenerife. Our diving center is located in the tourist village Playa la Arena, which is famous for its beaches with black volcanic sand, as well as the grandiose Los Gigantes cliffs overhanging the ocean. We organize dives all over the island; for each dive, we provide a transfer for divers who stop in any village on the southern coast of Tenerife. Diving Atlantis instructors speak Russian, Polish, English, German, Spanish and French. We make diving trips in a pleasant, friendly atmosphere, without fuss and rush. Together with our divers, we choose a dive site depending on the training and experience of the divers. We have at our disposal several pools from 1.2 m to 3.5 m depth, in which we conduct training programs for beginners and children, as well as diving courses. We pick up our clients from hotels or apartments at 9: 00-10: 00 am and return around 16:00.

Programs

  • Test

  • Start your underwater adventure and dive into the Atlantic Ocean! Almost anyone over 8 years old can dive. Probably, there is not a single person in the world who has never thought about seeing with his own eyes the fascinating and striking underwater world. Everyone dreamed about it sometime. Don’t wait any longer! Choose one of the beginner programs we have prepared especially for you!

Are you worried you can’t do it? This is not so, it is enough to want and make up your mind. Our beginner programs are different from those offered by other diving centers. We always do a trial dive individually, each dive has its own personal instructor. This way we can guarantee each client sufficient attention, convenience and safety. We enter the water from the beach and first train on the surface to breathe through the regulator. We always have enough time for every diver to take their time and gradually get used to the equipment. We begin the dive at a depth of 1 meter and then sail from the coast to a depth of 6-8 meters. There we meet unusually friendly marine animals that live in the volcanic landscape. And we observe the life of the underwater world: there are schools of fish, and starfish, crabs, octopuses, etc.

  • Padi courses

  • Our diving school works for the largest and most famous PADI diving federation. Thanks to this, after completing a course with us, you will receive a certificate that will be easily recognizable in any diving center in the world, wherever you decide to dive. The diving course is an exciting adventure that will help you open the door to another world. While diving, we not only observe underwater life, but also discover new possibilities: for the first time we feel what weightlessness is, we hang in the water column and seem to fly. It is very easy to join the huge community of people who are passionate about diving. Sign up for a diving course, and at the end of the training you will be able to dive in completely different places in the world, and each dive will cost much less.

Scuba diving in Tenerife attracts tourists from all over the world as it is one of the most beautiful and unusual dive sites, ideal for learning to dive. Read on for a short description of the cruises. The price includes pick-up from the hotel / apartment and full diving equipment. The courses are conducted by experienced, highly qualified instructors. There are two PADI diving courses for beginners: Scuba Diver and Open Water Diver.

  • Divemaster Courses

  • PADI Divemaster is the first professional level and prestigious title in the field of diving. The divemaster title allows you to work as a guide for certified divers and an assistant instructor for diving courses, as well as conduct some training programs and partly diving courses. Obtaining the Divemaster PADI certificate opens up new opportunities for work and travel, allows you to realize yourself in the field of diving. By becoming a divemaster, diving enthusiasts combine their passion with work and enjoy it immensely. Taking a course in Tenerife is an excellent choice. It has wonderful weather all year round, warm waters and many exciting dives. Training can be started regardless of the diver’s experience and certification. Even beginners can enroll in a divemaster course and take each course one at a time. Age requirements: over 18 years old. To become a divemaster, you need to be in good physical shape, have good health and a desire to learn. If you have taken courses in other diving federations, this does not prevent you from continuing your studies at PADI. On an ongoing basis, divemaster courses are taught by experienced PADI instructors in three languages: Russian, English and Polish.

We train PADI professionals at a live diving center that welcomes certified and novice divers on a daily basis, so you can really see the ins and outs of a divemaster. So, already during practical training you will get real experience in diving. The important thing is that we do not use interns as free labor. Our staff consists of certified divemasters and instructors who do their job. And with trainees, we conduct training in accordance with all PADI standards and main principles. We have pools of different depths at our disposal, which are great for training as part of the course. For our students, we provide the missing equipment for free, as well as help with the search for housing. The PADI Divemaster course lasts 6 days, 8 hours a day. Part of the training takes place at the dive center, where we do theory and exercises in the pool. The rest of the days we conduct practical exercises in the ocean. A PADI Divemaster must master the theory of diving and learn to accompany divers underwater. Upon completion of the course, the divemaster must have at least 60 registered dives.

  • Scooter diving

  • Diving with the DPV (Diver Propulsion Vehicle) scooter is great for adventure divers and offers many benefits. By diving with a scooter, we can explore more places, moving faster and further, while using air and energy more economically. Even the places where we have already dived, we will see from a new perspective, since now we can cover much greater distances. Once you have tried scooter diving, you will love to dive in this way forever.

Scuba scooters became popular thanks to technical divers who used them for cave diving. Scooters allow you to enter remote caves that are absolutely inaccessible during normal diving (moving in the water with the help of fins). Nowadays, underwater scooters are often used in recreational diving. More and more divers are discovering this exciting way to get around underwater every year.

Vast volcanic landscapes and a variety of dive sites make Tenerife a great diving destination with the DPV scooter. Since scooters help divers move three times faster, you will have the opportunity to discover more and more new places in Tenerife, in which no one has dived before. As a rule, in such pristine places, the abundance of marine life is striking, which makes scooter diving even more exciting.

To start diving with a scooter, you can choose one of two programs: a test dive with a scooter or a DPV Diver course. We recommend signing up for the course, as after completing the training, you will have all the basic skills required for scooter diving, and you will also receive a DPV Diver certificate.
